Important Information About the Anti-Spam Filter
Hello,
The security of your IONOS email accounts is very important to us and is one of our top priorities.
To protect you even better against online threats, we have optimized the Anti-Spam Filter for you. It is now automatically activated for all mailboxes. The Anti-Spam Filter is of course free for you to use.
What is the Anti-Spam Filter?
The Anti-Spam Filter automatically filters unwanted emails for you, specifically those that you receive unsolicited. Typical examples of this are mass emails, such as unauthorized advertising emails or emails with a fraudulent background/history.
What happens if an email is identified as spam?
If an email is identified as spam by our Anti-Spam Filter, it is automatically moved to the spam folder. In addition, you will receive a daily spam report that lists all emails moved to the spam folder for the day. The messages in the Spam folder are automatically deleted after 30 days
How can the Anti-Spam Filter be deactivated or adjusted?
You can adjust or deactivate the configuration of your Anti-Spam Filter at any time in your Webmail settings (https://www.ionos.com/help/index.php?id&84) or IONOS Account (https://www.ionos.com/help/index.php?id#92).
Sincerely,
IONOS Customer Service
