2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

- Cookies For Veterans: Roxanne Connelly is spearheading this effort. Packing cookies tomorrow,Nov. 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the Great Bend Community Church. If you know of any military person who would like some Christmas cookies, please let Bonne Travis know.
- Thank you to all who have donated plastic grocery bags for the homeless. These are no longer needed.
