Pastor’s Corner

Spring is just around the corner, and soon we will see our flowers come to life again. I love flowers and the beauty they bring each year. Spring is such a wonderful time of year, and it’s the time of year that we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. His resurrection is more than a celebration; it’s proof that we serve a living Savior. It’s also a guarantee that we have an eternal inheritance to spend with Him and one another.

Until then, we must wait with eager expectation (Romans 8:19). As we wait, God calls us to spread His Word by sharing it wherever we go (Matt. 28:16-20). Each and every day is a new day that we can proclaim the excitement of serving a “living” God who is actively involved in our lives no matter what comes our way. The resurrection brings us “living” love that endures forever. Let’s spring into action with new ideas and new ways that our church can reach new people who can worship our living God with us.

In the name of our Living Savior,    Pastor Al

Bible Verse Memory Plan

Week #1: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9 NIV

Week #2: For it is by grace, you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV

Week #3: Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1John 4:7 NIV

Week #4: The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. Psalm 34:19 NIV
