From the Pastor’s Desk
Philippians 1:3-5 “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day of Jesus Christ.”
That is my exact feelings about our relationship in the last 9 years. From the first day that Ray and I entered the worship service you have been my family. The mission work you do and the fellowship and love that you show has always amazed me! We will be missing you this winter and will look forward to crossing paths next summer.
Remember that you are indeed the hands of Jesus and continue your good work in that way. Accept the stranger among you and give a cup of water to the thirsty and let the little children come. Jesus gave you all the tools and all you have to do is use them as you have been doing.
I so enjoyed our Anniversary celebration and I think people will remember the little church on the hill for a long time.
God’s blessing on you and on Pastor Joe and Bonne as you minister to all who meet you on your journey with God.

Offering for Bill’s Kids at the Children’s Home in Binghamton will continue until Nov. 3rd. This money will be used by the staff to purchase some Christmas gifts for the residents.
Feed a Friend Wish List – Deadline is November 17th. Bring canned pie fillings, box pie crusts, box cake mixes, prepared canned icings, and/or monetary donations. See Bonne with any questions or donations. If you are in need of a Thanksgiving basket. go to your local food bank in Montrose or Susquehanna before November 14th and sign up. You need to be a resident of Susquehanna County.
Pastor Joe will be coming to choir practice on Wed. afternoons and stay afterward for anyone who would like to meet with him. It would be best to call or e-mail to make arrangements.
Past and present Elders are needed to be Worship Leaders to do the Welcome, Announcements and Call to Worship. Please see Joyce to sign up. Also Liturgists are needed – Bill will be circulating – be ready!!!
