Call To Worship: Based on Psalm 95 and Ezekiel 34
Leader: Come, let us worship the Lord, our Maker.
People:We are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.
Leader: The Lord says, “I myself will search for my sheep and seek them out.”
People: He gathers the scattered,strengthens the weak,and brings the wandering home.
Leader: Jesus looked upon the crowds with compassion, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd.
People: Lord, give us Your compassion. Give us eyes for the harvest.
Leader: Let us worship the Good Shepherd, who seeks the lost, saves sinners, and calls His people to follow Him.
All:We come to worship the Lord. Open our eyes, soften our hearts,
and send us into Your harvest. Amen.

The Workers Are Few
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
