Messenger – November 2023

Pastor’s Corner:

I want to begin by thanking everyone for the cards and comments of appreciation as your Pastor. It has been a joy to serve as your Pastor for the last number of months. We are truly blessed to be a Church that God is using to reach the community, family, and friends. I am also encouraged to see and hear the spiritual growth that is occurring in so many of your lives. God is changing our Church from the inside out, and visitors have responded to our message rooted in Christ Jesus by continuing to come with words of encouragement.

We are entering this fall season with many things for which to be thankful. The sermons I will be bringing in the month of November will be about the thanksgiving that we can bring as a Church through our giving sacrificially of what God has so richly blessed us with. We are a small Church with a BIG heart, full of faith — and I thank God for how he continues to provide for us. Please pray that God will give us grateful hearts so our Church will thrive as we approach the new year that lies ahead.

In the love of Christ,   Pastor Al

Jesus, help us see you in the face of anyone we meet who is in need today, and to serve as we are able.

A new church year, a new season, a new focus. Thank you, Creator God, for the coming weeks to prepare our hearts anew for the arrival of your Son.

Update from Kenya…Their school continues to grow. They can now have a few orphans stay there and have volunteer ladies supervise activities. They also have a room used as a medical clinic with a trained nurse. They still struggle to keep the school open and provide some food for the students in spite of the fast inflation rate and scarcity of food We have just sent new funds for November and pray that they can continue to stay operational another month.
