Call To Worship:
Leader: Jesus said, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
People: Lord, teach us to follow You with surrendered hearts.
Leader: Jesus said, “Whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”
People: Lord, help us let go of the life we try to control, and lead us into life with You.
Leader: Jesus said, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.”
People: Lord, give us hunger for Your Word and hearts ready to obey.
Leader: Jesus said, “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
People: Lord, make our lives fruitful for Your glory.
Leader: Come, let us worship Jesus Christ, who calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him.
People: We worship Christ our Savior and Lord. Amen.
Scripture : Luke 9:23-26
23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. 25 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? 26 Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

Wednesday, July 15th– Men's Breakfast – 8am Thursday, July 16th– Session Meeting – 6pm Tuesday, July 28th– Newsletter Deadline Monday, August 31st – Presbyterian Women Ladies Day Out. We will be going to Brown Hill Farms to see the sunflowers. We will meet at the church at 10:30am. All ladies welcome.
